Bianca Owens hit a hat-trick and Emma Leckie the other for 'Boro, whilst Huddersfield replied through Amy Broomhead (2), Beth Allen and Kate Mallin. Sheffield Utd meanwhile made it three wins on the trot when beating Bradford City 3-2, courtesy of a Mollie Crump hat-trick.
Leicester City Women made a swift return to the top of the Midland Division as they edged out Nottingham Forest by the odd goal in seven. Loughborough Foxes made up ground on the top three by winning 5-1 away to Long Eaton Utd and Coventry Utd defeated TNS Ladies 4-2, courtesy of a Lauren Garner double, Ellie White and Katie Cornish.
In the Southern Division, C & K Basildon kept their title hopes alive by scoring eight times without reply past Milton Keynes Dons. Gemma Abela and Sasha Kelly each netted twice along with Eliza Diaz, Sarah Wilson, Ashleigh Searle and an own goal. Sophie Manzi hit a hat-trick and Jodie Weller the other as AFC Wimbledon won 4-2 away to Denham Utd and Crystal Palace defeated West Ham Utd 5-1 thanks to Ellie Stenning (2), Mary Robinson, Tia Foreman and Ami Martins.
FA WSL Development League Northern Division leaders Manchester City did not play on Sunday and their lead was trimmed to five points by Liverpool, who won 3-1 at Durham Women. Sheffield FC completed their home fixtures with an unbeaten record, but were disappointed to let a two-goal lead slip against Doncaster Rovers Belles. Georgia Willson opened and captain Ella Hartley double the advantage before Abby Watkinson halved the deficit with a header shortly before half time. Izzy Williams levelled with a fine turn and volley a few minutes before the final whistle. Everton were 3-1 winners at Birmingham City and Sunderland ran out 4-0 winners over Aston Villa, Georgia Gibson netted twice along with Danielle Brown and Simona Koren.
Chelsea are keeping up the pace in the Southern Division, going five points clear when a Nicole Douglas brace gave them a 2-0 victory over Millwall Lionesses. Reading FC Women remain in fourth place after sharing eight goals with Tottenham Hotspur.
