C & K Basildon returned to the top of the Southern Division on Sunday with a 4-2 victory over Portsmouth.
Angela Addison, Therese Addison, Jay Blackie and Laken Duchar Clark all scored a goal apiece for C & K, with Pompey replying through Daisy McLachlan and Shannon Albuery.
C & K's tenure turned out to be a short one though as Charlton Athletic produced two emphatic wins to regain the leadership. On Sunday they scored eleven times without reply past Queen's Park Rangers, spearheaded by a five-goal haul from Kit Graham. Georgia Griffin weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Hannah Churchill, Olivia Lukasewich, Kim Dixson and Charlotte Lee.
Charlton followed this up in midweek with a 6-0 victory away to Chichester City in which Charley Clifford netted twice along with Nicole Pepper, Georgia Griffin, Kit Graham and Charlotte Gurr.
Coventry Utd got back to winning ways with a 3-0 success at Chichester City on the weekend. Lois Jefferies gave them the lead during the first half and Coventry went on to crown the win with further strikes from Amber Hughes and Maz Gauntlett.
West Ham Utd's great run of form was brought to a halt as they went down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Lewes. Kelly Wealthall kept up her impressive spell by giving the Hammers an early lead but in the second half, Katie McIntyre levelled the scores and Amy Taylor grabbed a late winner to keep the Rookettes on course for a top four place.
