Honours were even once again as Glasgow City and Hibernian shared their second draw of the season, keeping them level on points at the top of the SWPL 1 table.
It was Hibernian who took the lead during the first half, Lizzie Arnot bursting through to score with a low finish, but after the break, City battled back strongly and Hayley Lauder equalised five minutes into the second half. Both teams had opportunities to win the game but had to settle for a point apiece with City remaining top on goal difference.
There are in fact three teams level on points at the top with Celtic climbing into second place after beating Hamilton Academical 4-0. The first half was goalless but before the hour mark, Celtic were two ahead thanks to a brace of goals from Josephine Giard. Nicole Cairney made it three with ten minutes remaining and Colette Cavanagh rounded off the scoring late on.
Forfar Farmington are up into the top half of the table as they recorded their third straight win, 3-1 away to Spartans. Nicola Davidson and Cheryl Kilcoyne ensured that Forfar were two goals ahead at the interval and Danni McGinley sealed the points with the third, before the home side grabbed a late consolation through Rachel McDonald-Nguah.
Stirling University returned to form with a 2-0 victory over Rangers. Lauren Dolan-Barr gave them the lead on the half hour and Beth McKay wrapped up the win with ten minutes left.
