Aberdeen peg back leaders

SWPL 2 leaders Motherwell saw their eight match winning run brought to an end as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Aberdeen.
Lynne Robertson headed Aberdeen in front but Motherwell battled back to earn themselves a share of the spoils thanks to a leveller from Kirsty McLaughlin.
Motherwell's lead of eight points remains intact after second placed FC Kilmarnock were held to a goalless draw by Hearts.
St Johnstone replaced Glasgow Girls in third place after running out 3-0 winners in their meeting. The home side had gone into the match in great form but goals from Ellie-May Cowie, Hannah Clark and Rachel Todd gave St Johnstone one of their best results of the season.
Edinburgh University Hutchison Vale are out of the bottom two places after beating Central Girls Academy 2-0. Two goals in two second half minutes from Katherine Smart and Lucy Brown proved to be enough to give EUHV their second league victory of the season.
