Eastern Region League
Acle Utd made it two wins out of two in the Premier Division with a 4-0 success against AFC Sudbury. Grace Birchall was on target twice for Acle along with Naomi Cooper and Anna Larkins. Harlow Town meanwhile shared a 2-2 draw with Bedford Ladies and are in second place in the fledgling table. Lily Bruno and Tayla Handscombe netted their goals whilst Catalina Costas hit a double for Bedford. Colney Heath meanwhile opened up their campaign by scoring six times without reply past Haringey Borough. Nicola Hollick and Sophie Joseph each netted twice along with Charlotte Grogan and Lucy Hancock.
In Division One, Stevenage Ladies Res are back in the position they occupied virtually all season - top of the table. They notched up their second straight win, 2-0 against Hoddesdon Town Owls thanks to goals from Katherine Calvert and Daniela Martucci. Bowers & Pitsea join them on six points following their 4-1 victory away to Bishop's Stortford in which Kealy Farley, Abbie Simmonds and Ebony Moore all scored along with an own goal. Daisy Canny and Jasmine Cox were the markswomen for Lawford as they defeated Histon 2-1, Katie Webb replying.
London & South East League
Cup duties meant that the league programme for Sunday was restricted to just one fixture. This was at Fulham FC Foundation, where visitors Whyteleafe picked up their first win of the season, goals from Mercedes Broomfield and Giorgia Dunne earning them a 2-0 victory.
