Eastern Region League
One match was played in the Premier Division on Sunday, Bedford Ladies winning 6-1 against Haringey Borough. Maya Sidhu bagged herself a four-goal haul and also on target for Bedford were Jodie Molloy and Amy Magnus, with Shanice Nourrice replying.
Stevenage Ladies Res continue to stretch the early pace in Division One, opening up a lead of three points following their 4-0 victory away to Hatfield Peveral. Emily Schofield was on target twice along with Hannah Marshall and an own goal. Rosi Webb hit a hat-trick, with Hayley Critchell, Victoria Kinsman and Kaitlin Sugg adding the others as Hutton defeated Hertford Town 6-2 to move up to second. Lawford are also on six points following their 4-1 win at King's Lynn Town in which Daisy Canny and Tyler Christou both scored twice. Laura Bailey and Lauren Deller were on the scoresheet as Newmarket Town shared a 2-2 draw with Hoddesdon Town Owls, who replied through Natasha Crick and Kristina O'Connell.
London & South East League
FA Cup duties meant that only one match took place in the league over the weekend, Eastbourne Town picking up their first victory of the season with a 3-2 success away to Queen's Park Rangers Development.
Georgia Tibble netted twice inside the first five minutes and Catherine Hyland extended Eastbourne's lead just before half time. Georgia Allen and Chloe Sampson each pulled a goal back for Rangers during the last twelve minutes but Eastbourne held out to join their opponents on three points.
North East League
Norton & Stockton Ancients Res have made a flying start to the new season in the Northern Division, winning 11-3 against Prudhoe Town. Paige Hunter and Frayah Munro netted four goals apiece for Norton, whose other strikes came from Ellie Hamilton, Leah Draper and Brooke Slater. Allison Ferris meanwhile hit a hat-trick as Sunderland West End won 4-1 away to Consett Ladies, Kristen Whitfield was also on target.
One match was played in the Southern Division, Claire Pritchard was on target for Altofts Ladies as they shared a 1-1 draw with Barnsley Development, who replied through Ellie Brightmore.
North West League
Mossley Hill were relegated into the league at the end of last season but could not have made a better start in their quest to regain National League status, thanks to a 9-2 victory over Sir Tom Finney. In the other match to take place in the Premier Division, Fleetwood Town Wrens and Wigan Athletic battled out a 1-1 draw.
Blackpool have got off to a good start in Division One North, opening up with a 4-0 victory against Blackburn Community. They top the opening day table from Leigh RMI, 4-1 winners over Morecambe Res, and Preston North End who beat newly promoted Penwortham Town 3-2. Crosby Ladies, another of the newcomers to the league, are off the mark after their first match ended in a 3-3 draw with Workington Reds.
In Division One South, Liverpool Feds Res recorded the biggest win of the day when defeating Stockport County Blues 5-2. Altrincham were 3-0 winners over newly promoted Chester FC Women and Curzon Ashton beat Northwich Vixens 2-1.
South West League
Bishop's Lydeard were 3-0 winners over Forest Green Rovers in the opening match of the Premier Division season. Holly Miller netted two of the goals and Kayleigh Riley was also on target.
Trowbridge Town have made a big impact in their first match in the league after promotion, notching a 5-0 victory away to FC Chippenham. Ella Broad and Rebecca Fry netted two goals apiece, with Katie Minty adding the other. The other Wiltshire newcomers, Laverstock & Ford also made a winning start as they beat Swindon Spitfires 5-3. Megan Fear was on target twice along with Leanne Griffiths-Iower, Evie Bell and Rachel Lang, while the Spitfires replied through Katie Wadey (2) and Claire Moreton. AEK Boco have been relegated back into the division but have made a very good start, winning 2-1 away to Almondsbury. Katie Ransome and Ellie Keedwell scored their goals.
In the Western Division, Gabi Alphous and Nicola Champion each netted twice along with Faye Ivall and Maya Ridge as Plymouth Argyle Development won 6-3 at Bude Town. In the other game, Plympton Ladies defeated newly promoted Pen Mill 5-3 thanks to a Shannon Workman brace, Lauren Boyle, Emily Hollister and Sam Metters.
Southern Region League
Cup action reduced the Premier Division schedule to just one match and it saw Payton Howard and Beth Norman score the goals as Winchester City Flyers won 2-1 against Barton Rovers.
One match was also played in Division One, where Southampton Women Res scored eight times without reply past Wokingham & Emmbrook. Jennifer King led the scoring with a hat-trick, Laura Vokes added a double and there was one apiece from Jane Yeates, Sophie Hall and Lily Shergill.
West Midlands League
In the solitary match to be played in the Premier Division on Sunday, newly promoted Goldenhill Wanderers battling out a 2-2 draw with Knowle.
The only other game in the league took place in Division One South, Sedgley & Gornal Utd opening up with a 5-1 victory over Droitwich Spa.
