Motherwell are on the verge of the 50-point mark in SWPL 2, the title winners scoring four times without reply away to Aberdeen.
Lesley Condie gave them the lead with eight minutes on the clock and Hayley Cunningham added a second on the stroke of half time. After the break, Suzanne Mulvey netted a brace to round off yet another win for the Women of Steel.
FC Kilmarnock look to be in the driving seat to take the runners-up spot after a 5-4 success against third placed Hearts. Lauren Sloan scored the winning goal to settle a thrilling match, whilst Pamela Liddell hit a hat-trick for Hearts but still ended up on the losing side.
St Johnstone meanwhile defeated Glasgow Girls 3-0 and this has taken them level on points with Hearts. After a goalless first half, Rachel Todd netted twice and Jade McDonald the other to give St Johnstone a result which strengthens their chances of finishing in the top half.
Edinburgh University Hutchison Vale are closer to moving out of the bottom three after running out 7-0 winners over Central Girls Academy. Katherine Smart led the scoring for EUHV with a hat-trick, Anna Hume weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Nicole Clark and Nichola Sturrock.
