Glasgow City are continuing to turn up the pace in SWPL 1 following their 6-0 victory over Rangers.
Kirsty Howat and Megan Foley each netted twice, with one apiece from Hannah Stewart and Lidija Kulis to help keep City top on goal difference.
Hibernian are refusing to give ground in second place and once more keep pace with City after winning 4-2 away to Hamilton Academical. Abi Harrison scored twice along with Cailin Michie and an own goal, whilst the Accies replied through Rachel Ross and Lori Gardner.
Celtic look to be on course to finish in third place after they won 1-0 against Forfar Farmington. Kathleen McGovern scored the only goal of the game to leave Celtic needing two more points to secure a top three position once again.
The Spartans revival continues and their 2-0 victory over Stirling University means they are now five points off the bottom. Tegan Reynolds opened the scoring in the opening minute of the game and Becky Galbraith headed in the second after half time to seal a very important result for the Edinburgh side.
