Chesterfield caused a huge shock in their delayed SSE Women's FA Cup Second Round Qualifying tie, with a 1-0 victory over Burton Albion.
Paige Singleton's second half strike earned the Derbyshire County Women's League side a magnificent win over their National League opponents and they will be at home again this Sunday, to Stockport County in the Third Round Qualifying.
Whilst Chesterfield produced the standout result of the day, Crawley Wasps came through a tough tie away to Denham Utd with a 3-1 victory. Naomi Cole, Kemina Webber and Faye Rabson scored the goals for Crawley who must travel to Chesham Utd in the next round. Cambridge Utd ended the hopes of Harlow Town with a 6-0 win. Kelley Blanchflower, Kayleigh-Anne Burt, Stephanie Gale, Faith Hewitt, Victoria Neal and Gabriell Whitehurst all scored for the U's, who will be at home to Stevenage Ladies.
Southampton Saints meanwhile scored through Sabrina Morriss-Manosalva, Catherine Browning and Alisha Buckingham as they defeated Warsash Wasps 3-0 to set up a trip to Keynsham Town (see match report).
Kirstal Clarke netted twice along with Melanie Hall, Merle Ling and an own goal for Queen's Park Rangers Girls in their 5-1 victory over Royston Town. Rangers will now be away to fellow London & South East League side Whyteleafe. Kent Football Utd eased past Burgess Hill Town by scoring nine times without reply. Amy Russ was on target four times, Rachel Stevens contributed a hat-trick and Megan Burrows added the other two as they booked themselves a trip to Ashford Town (Middx).
