Keynsham Town have had an excellent start to the season and they have claimed the scalp of Portsmouth in their delayed FAWNL League Plate Second Round tie, coming from behind to win 2-1.
Katie James gave Pompey an eleventh minute lead, with Kerry Bartlett equalising shortly before the interval. Charlotte Haynes pulled off a string of good saves to help keep Keynsham on level terms during the second half but they also looked dangerous going forward and a well contested tie was settled in the second minute of injury time when Ellie Curson drove in a 25-yard shot.
Milton Keynes Dons safely negotiated a long trip when they won 3-0 against a spirited Brislington side. Leah Littlechild got the Dons off to the perfect start when she scored in the fifth minute and Leah Cudone quickly added a second, before Alice Hughes completed the scoring on the stroke of half time.
Middlesbrough booked their place in the last sixteen by running out 6-0 winners away to Solihull Moors. Anna Birtwhistle and Emily Scarr put 'Boro two ahead after sixteen minutes and Tyler Dodds added a third ahead of half time. In the second half, Scarr and Dodds both completed their doubles and Eleanor Dale netted the final goal with six minutes remaining.
