Albion catch up ground
 Women's Football WNL Division 1 Midlands News - 25 Oct 2018
West Bromwich Albion won 3-0 away to Sporting Khalsa to go level on points with leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Keeley Davies netted twice and Natalie Murray the other for Albion who remain in second place on goal difference.
Bedworth Utd's winning start to the season has come to a halt after they were beaten for the first time, 2-1 by Long Eaton Utd who now have the same number of points as them. Millie Fulgar and Laura Sears were on target for Long Eaton, with Bedworth's reply coming from Jessica Lundie.
Defeat for Bedworth means that Birmingham & West Midlands Ladies have moved above them into third place following their 2-2 draw against Burton Albion. Jordan Atkin scored both goals for Burton, with BWM's markswomen being Stephanie Weston and Lauryn Bryan.
