Sunderland swept to the top of the Northern Premier Division with an 8-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Keira Ramshaw kept up her good start to the season by hitting a hat-trick, Emily Hutchinson weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Bridget Galloway, Faye Mullen and Anna Young.
Sunderland head the table by a single point from Derby County, who were 2-1 winners over Guiseley Vixens. After a goalless first half, Ellie Olds put Guiseley ahead ten minutes after the restart but goals in a five minute spell from Cara Newton and Andi Bell gave Derby their sixth win of the season.
Huddersfield Town are three points off the pace after edging out Stoke City by the odd goal in seven. Stoke led at the interval through a goal from Amy Hughes but Kate Mallin equalised within two minutes of the restart and Brittany Sanderson netted a quickfire double to put Huddersfield in front. Ashleigh Hayes brought Stoke back into the game and an own goal then levelled the scores, but an injury time goal from Lucy Sowerby gave Huddersfield the points.
