Chichester one point off top
 Women's Football WNL South News - 1 Nov 2018
With leaders Coventry Utd not playing, Chichester City took an opportunity to narrow the gap on them to a single point.
Molly Clark scored the only goal of the game as Chi won 1-0 against Cardiff City Ladies to step up their challenge, whilst putting a halt to the South Wales side's run of three straight league wins.
Oxford Utd meanwhile move into the top five after winning 2-0 away to C & K Basildon. Flo Fyfe gave Oxford the lead just before the half hour, and the U's leading scorer made the points safe for her side with the second in injury time.
Loughborough Foxes ended their run of five league games without a win by beating Milton Keynes Dons 6-0. Ria Acton, Shauna Chambers, Millie Chandarana, Eva Rogers, Laura Steele and Charlotte Cooper were all on the scoresheet for Loughborough.
