The top of the table clash went the way of Crawley Wasps, who beat Billericay Town 2-0 to open up a lead of five points over the Essex side.
Both of Crawley's goals came during the second half, Emma Plewa giving them the lead and Naomi Cole sealing the win with the second, nine minutes from time.
Enfield Town narrowed the gap in third place after they also won 2-0 away to Actonians Ladies. Katherine Long opened the scoring for Enfield just before the hour mark, with Sasha Kelly adding the second goal ten minutes later.
AFC Wimbledon kept up their improved run of form with a third straight victory, beating Norwich City 4-2. Jenny Nagle and Caroline Bisson put the Dons two ahead inside nine minutes and Nagle then netted her second, with Kathryn Stanley replying. Katie Stanley restored the three-goal advantage for Wimbledon early in the second half and although Reeanna Cook did reduce the arrears for Norwich, they were unable to prevent the Dons' run from gathering more momentum.
Leyton Orient and Ipswich Town remain in the top half of the table after their meeting culminated in a 2-2 draw. Egle Trezzi and Hayley Barton both scored in the last ten minutes to earn the O's a share of the spoils, Ipswich having found the net through Zoe Cossey and Paige Wakefield.
Ashleigh Deacon and Amy Makewell accounted for the goals as Stevenage Ladies won 2-1 away to Denham Utd, whose consolation came from Kayleigh Currivan.
Cambridge Utd have climbed out of the bottom two following a 1-0 victory against Luton Town. Becky Shephard scored the only of the game to bring an end to Cambridge's four match run without a win in the league.
