West Bromwich Albion have gone three points clear at the top of table after winning 2-1 at Nettleham. Reia Henry and Harriet James netted the goals for Albion, with Daisy Marsh replying.
Previous leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers were beaten for the first time, 2-1 by Bedworth Utd who are now level on points with them. Alice Belcher gave Bedworth a first half lead which was cancelled out by Jade Cross, but a late winning goal from Kirsty Farnsworth secured a second win in four days for Bedworth and puts them firmly amongst the title challengers.
Birmingham & West Midlands Ladies follow on in fourth after running out 7-1 winners over Steel City Wanderers. Stephanie Weston netted a first half brace along with Ashlea Hargreaves to put their sides three up at the break and in the second half, Charlotte Fisher scored twice, with further strikes from Nadia Bacciochi and Natalie Gibson. The Steels' consolation goal came from Lucy Blackburn.
The New Saints are out of the bottom three places after they edged out Long Eaton Utd 4-3. Laura Morris, Kim Bebbington, Louisa Anderson and Sarah Jackson were on target for TNS, with Long Eaton's replies coming from Jade Arber (2) and Ashleigh Evans.
Sporting Khalsa and Burton Albion remain level on points after battling out a 2-2 draw. Chloe Handy and Lauren Walker netted the goals for Khalsa, whilst Burton's strikes came from Amelia Robb and Hayleigh Sutton.
