Blackburn Rovers are through to the semi finals of the Reserve League Cup following a narrow 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion. Megan Hornby, Eve Clarkson and Sarah Agger scored the goals for Blackburn, with Albion's replies coming from Reia Henry and Kathryn Pagan. The other quarter final proved to be an even tighter affair, ending goalless after extra time, before Leicester City Women finally triumphed over Chichester City on a penalty shootout.
In Northern Division One, Durham Women claimed their third victory of the season when beating Bradford City 7-1. Alanah Scott scored a hat-trick for the Wildcats and there was one apiece from Ellie Mett, Nisha Mistry, Grace Ayre and Shona Hastings.
Chorley have opened up a lead of three points at the top of Northern Division Two, thanks to a 4-1 victory away to Barnsley. Kadie Morrison bagged a hat-trick and Emily Norcross the other for Chorley, whilst the home side's consolation came from Lauryn Wilcock.
There was a change of leadership once again in the Midland Division, Derby County ascending to the top after winning 3-2 at Nottingham Forest. Jamey Brewster, Naomi Lawrence and Kira Rai netted the goals for Derby, with Forest replying through Jessica Munn and Jordan Reek. Libbie-Mae Taylor and Rebecca Lacey were on target for third placed Loughborough Foxes as they drew 2-2 with Coventry Utd.
