Tottenham Hotspur were 4-0 victors over Charlton Athletic in the quarter finals of the Reserve Section League Cup, which included a double from Therese Addison. Newcastle Utd also booked their place in the last four by winning 2-0 away to Middlesbrough, courtesy of a goal apiece from Rachel Bell and Jayden Maxwell.
Blackburn Rovers maintained their lead in Northern Division One by scoring six times without reply past Bradford City. Carra Jones and Megan Dykes each bagged braces and there was one apiece from Megan Hornby and Katie King. Second placed Huddersfield Town meanwhile returned to winning ways with a 3-1 success at Durham Women, thanks to a goal each from Tara Duce, Macy Ellis and Jess Frater.
Emily Norcross and Emily Stocks netted the goals as Northern Division Two leaders Chorley won 2-1 against Barnsley. They stay three points ahead of Guiseley Vixens, who were 1-0 winners away to Brighouse Town with Ellie Casper scoring the only goal of the game. Leeds Utd ran out 4-1 victors over Burnley FC Women, Rachel Stuart was on target twice along with Emma Lee and Shannon Hayes.
Stoke City replaced Derby County as leaders of the Midland Division after beating them 3-2 with Tasia Brough, Nuala Miszkiel and Jodie Foxhall scoring their goals. Laura Dexter hit a hat-trick, Lucy Coppin and Cecilia Webb weighed in with braces and Nicola Russell and Simran Singh rounded off the scoring as Loughborough Foxes won 9-0 against Long Eaton Utd to move up to second. Shannon Henson, Imogen Hunt and Grace Smith were on the scoresheet as Leicester City Women beat Crewe Alexandra 3-1 whilst Georgia Gladwin, Caitlin Worthington and Jessica Munn earned Nottingham Forest a 3-3 draw with West Bromwich Albion, who scored through Grace Harris (2) and Kathryn Pagan. Amber Downs and Sophie Roberts both netted four times for Coventry Utd in their 11-0 victory over Burton Albion, with Lauren Garner (2) and Marie McGuire completing the scoring.
In the South/South East Division, Watford moved into the top half of the table with a 4-2 victory over Gillingham. Andie Dickens led the scoring with a hat-trick and Holly Greenwood was also on target, whilst Gemma Cumby and Esmee Sword replied for the Gills.
South/South West Division leaders Crystal Palace did not have a game but AFC Wimbledon were unable to take an opportunity to replace them, going down 1-0 to Lewes whose goal came from Tiggeraa Webb. Chichester City meanwhile ran out emphatic 14-0 winners against Denham Utd, a result which means they have narrowed the gap on the top two to three points.
