Villa's big date
 Women's Football FA Women's Championship News - 25 Jan 2019
Aston Villa take on Leicester City in the FA Women's Championship this Sunday, with the match being staged at Villa Park.
The match will be an occasion to savour, with many of Villa's young squad never having had the opportunity to play on such a stage. It is only the second occasion that Villa will have played a WSL/Championship league match at the famous venue, having previously beaten Watford 4-0 in a WSL 2 match back in 2016. That occasion yielded an attendance of 1,320, a figure that the club are hoping to beat this time around.
Villa go into match having lost only two of their last nine league games, whilst Leicester City were 3-2 winners over Millwall Lionesses in their last outing before the international break.
The match kicks off at 1pm, with a Fun Zone at the stadium in the two hours leading up to the start. Entry is free for season ticket holders, whilst ticket prices start at £2.
