Archers hit the mark
 Women's Football WFA News - 15 Feb 2019
Cardiff Met Women are through to the semi finals of the FAW Women's Cup after they won 5-1 away to Cyncoed Ladies on Sunday.
Madison Schupbach was on target twice for the Archers along with Chloe Tiley, Ellie Walker-Smith and Alice Griffiths.
Also through are Abergavenny Women with a 2-1 success away to Llandudno Ladies. Kate Jeremiah gave Abergavenny a first half lead which was cancelled out moments later by the home side, before Laura Davies netted the winning goal after the break.
Cardiff City Women are the third team through to the last four after they defeated Rhyl Ladies 6-1. Catherine Walsh netted two of the goals along with Zoe Atkins, Alana Murphy, Lucy McDonough and Emily Griffiths, whilst Rhyl's consolation came from Rebecca Bannister.
The other quarter final tie between Briton Ferry Llansawel and Caernarfon Town was postponed because of the weather, and the teams will try to play their tie this week.
In the draw for the semi finals, Abergavenny Women have been paired with Cardiff City Women whilst Cardiff Met Women await the winners of the delayed tie between Briton Ferry Llansawel and Caernarfon Town.
