Hibernian maintain the early leadership of SWPL 1 after running out 4-0 winners over Rangers.
Both teams went into the game sporting unbeaten records but it was Hibs who went on to take the points, thanks to a Lia Tweedie hat-trick and Siobhan Hunter.
Glasgow City are now the division's only other unbeaten team and they continue to sit second, one point behind and with a game in hand, after scoring seven times without reply past Forfar Farmington. City took the lead shortly before half time through Kirsty Howat and after the break, Clare Shine hit a hat-trick to crown her recent return to the club and other goals came from Jordan McLintock, Joanne Love and Carly Girasoli.
Third placed Celtic were left frustrated following a goalless draw with Motherwell. The Women of Steel produced a fine defensive display with goalkeeper Morgan Hunter in good form to earn themselves a result which keeps up their promising start after promotion.
Spartans picked up their first victory of the season, a 3-0 success away to Stirling University who are still searching for their first points. Kaela McDonald-Nguah gave Spartans an early lead and Tegan Reynolds added the second, before an own goal rounded off the scoring.
