Blackburn Rovers have extended their lead at the top of Northern Division One with a 1-0 win away to third placed Newcastle Utd. Carra Jones scored the only goal of the game for Blackburn, midway through the second half.
Things remain close in Northern Division Two with leaders Chorley defeating Burnley FC Women 4-2 to maintain their lead of three points. Katie King led the scoring for Chorley with a hat-trick and Ellie Mills was also on target, with Charlotte Banner and Kathryn Halligan replying. Brighouse Town made sure of keeping on Chorley's heels by winning 3-0 away to Leeds Utd, Murron Alldread netting twice along with Holly Sornat.
Stoke City stay eleven points clear at the top of the Midland Division following their 2-1 victory away to West Bromwich Albion. Nuala Miszkiel and Roisin Kivel netted their goals, while Grace Harris replied for Albion. Beth Naqwi and Danielle Oxley scored the goals as Derby County won 2-0 at Crewe Alexandra to stay in second place, ahead of Leicester City who defeated Long Eaton Utd 5-1. Imogen Hunt was on target twice along with Jade Benford, Grace Lowe and Gracie-Mai Williams. Nottingham Forest were 3-1 victors over Sporting Khalsa thanks to Georgia Gladwin (2) and Caitlin Hughes, while Lauren Da Casto and Nina Warrington were the markswomen for Burton Albion in their 2-2 draw with Loughborough Foxes, who scored through Simran Singh and Nicola Russell.
Crystal Palace continue to close in on the South/South West Division title after they beat Southampton Women 6-3. Charmaine True was on target four times, with Charli-Mae Goad and Jade Keogh adding the others, as Palace extended their lead at the top to five points.
