Blackburn Rovers pocketed their second major trophy of the season when they defeated a spirited Crawley Wasps side 3-0 in the League Cup Final at Burton.
Saffron Jordan gave Blackburn an eighth minute lead when she scored from close range, from a Lauren Davies cross. Blackburn continued to have the better of things in the first half and almost went further ahead when Lynda Shepherd's header was cleared off the line by Niamh Stephenson.
Rovers were to strike again early in the second half, Natasha Flint breaking through on goal before lifting the ball over the advancing Frankie Gibbs for the second. Moments later, both Flint and Jordan hit the woodwork during a scramble as Crawley battled to keep themselves in the game.
Crawley fought hard to try and get themselves back into the game but Blackburn's firepower was just too much on the day and Jordan crowned the win for her team with a powerful strike into the top corner after evading a couple of challenges.
