Glasgow City power on at the top of SWPL 1, extending their lead to five points with a 5-0 victory away to Spartans.
Hayley Lauder opened the scoring with six minutes on the clock but the game remained in the balance until the hour mark, when Clare Shine scored twice within a minute. Leanne Crichton made it four and Jordan McLintock rounded off the scoring with five minutes remaining.
Celtic are now the team in second place, by virtue of having scored more goals, after beating Hibernian 3-0. Sarah Ewens gave Celtic the lead midway through the first half, with Chloe Craig adding a second after the break and Natalie Ross rounding off the scoring with seventeen minutes remaining.
Rangers are back in the top half of the table, following their 4-1 victory over Stirling University. Carla Boyce put them ahead after two minutes, with Naomi Welch equalising for Stirling shortly afterwards. Chantelle Brown restored the lead for Rangers with twenty minutes remaining, before Jade Gallon and Shivohn Honeyman wrapped up the win for their side with further goals.
Motherwell made it two victories on the trot when they defeated Forfar Farmington 2-0. Katie Rice opened the scoring for the Women of Steel during the first half, before Chelsea McEachran clinched the points with the second, eight minutes from time.
