Glasgow City are in complete control of the Scottish Women's Premier League title race as they maintained their 100% league record this season with a 1-0 win over Celtic in their top of the table clash at Petershill Park.
Clare Shine's 37th minute left foot strike was the difference between the two sides over the ninety minutes and this leaves City eight points clear, with a game in hand, as the Glasgow side chase their 13th title in a row.
Hibernian have moved back above Celtic into second place on goal difference, courtesy of a 4-0 victory away to Stirling University. Jamie-Lee Napier ensured that Hibs were in front at half time and after the break, Amy Gallacher increased their lead and Napier completed her double on the hour mark, before Kirsty Morrison rounded off the scoring.
Spartans are in the top half of the table following their 1-0 success against Forfar Farmington, who remain three points above the relegation zone. Michaela McAlonie scored the only goal of the game, midway through the first half.
