National League round-up...
 Women's Football WNL North News - 11 Oct 2019

League Plate
Plymouth Argyle eased into the last sixteen with a 7-1 victory away to Devon rivals Buckland Athletic. Zoe Cunningham led the scoring for Argyle with a hat-trick and Natasha Knapman weighed in with another two, whilst Jessie Jones and Helen Bleazard were also on target. Sarah Stacey grabbed a consolation goal for Buckland against her former side.

Northern Premier Division
Only two games managed to survive the weather on Sunday and Burnley FC Women were the main beneficiaries as they won 2-0 away to Loughborough Foxes to catch up ground on the top three. Sarah Greenhalgh gave unbeaten Burnley the lead shortly before half time and they secured the points with eight minutes remaining, when Evie Priestley scored the second goal.

The other game saw the points being shared as Fylde Women and Middlesbrough battled out a 3-3 draw. Laura Merrin, Lavinia Nkomo and Jodie Redgrave scored the goals as Fylde drew for the third time in six matches.

Southern Premier Division
The top two in the table did not play on Sunday whilst Watford powered their way into the top three by winning 5-2 against Oxford Utd. Adekite Fatuga-Dada was on target twice along with Katie O'Leary, Leanne Bell and Emma Beckett whilst Oxford replied through a brace from Emily Allen.

Yeovil Town meanwhile ended a run of four league games without a win by beating Gillingham 6-1. Ann Marie Heatherson, Sarah Wiltshire and Laura Williams all scored twice for fifth placed Yeovil.

A late flurry of goals took Portsmouth to a 7-2 victory away to Keynsham Town. Becki Bath led the scoring for Pompey with a hat-trick and Tamsin De Bunsen netted a brace, with Charmaine True and Jade Widdows adding the others. Ellie Curson and Annys Turner grabbed consolation strikes for the home side.
