Hibs narrow the gap
 Women's Football Scottish WPL News - 11 Oct 2019
On Tuesday night, Hibernian trimmed Glasgow City's lead at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League to eight points as they scored thirteen times against Forfar Farmington.
Hibs got off to a very fast start and were two ahead inside the opening six minutes, thanks to Siobhan Higgins and Rachael Boyle. Higgins quickly added a second and Jamie-Lee Napier made it for ahead of half time. After the break, Hibs began to run riot with Colette Cavanagh and Boyle further extending their lead, with Amy Gallacher adding the next goal on the hour.
Chelsea Cornet and Lia Tweedie joined them on the scoresheet, before Napier netted three times in five minutes, taking her tally to four on the night. Tweedie went on to complete her double and an emphatic victory with the final goal, nine minutes from time.
