The League Cup returned to action on Sunday and league leaders Swansea City were narrow 2-1 winners away to Abergavenny Women.
After a goalless first half, Katy Hosford gave Swansea the lead six minutes after the restart and after Abergavenny had levelled the scores late on through Ceri Hudson, substitute Chloe Chivers settled matters in the Swans' favour in injury time.
In Group Two, Port Talbot Town boosted their chances of qualifying with a 3-0 victory at Briton Ferry Llansawel. Bethan McGowan opened the scoring on the half hour and midway through the second half, Port Talbot doubled their lead through Lauren Amor and Courteney Thomas rounded off the win with the third goal. The other group match between Cyncoed Ladies and Cardiff Met Women was postponed.
One match was played in the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League on Sunday, at Llandudno Ladies where the home side shared a 1-1 draw with Aberystwyth Town. Emily Thomas gave Aber an eighteenth minute, with Llandudno hitting back to equalise through Fflur Williams. Although they remain at the foot of the table, Aberystwyth are now off the mark whilst the point takes Llandudno up to fifth place.
