Cup Final officials confirmed
 Women's Football FA WSL news - 28 Feb 2020

The Football Association has confirmed the match officials for the 2020 FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup Final.

Helen Conley [Durham CFA] will take charge of the Final between Arsenal and Chelsea, which takes place at The City Ground, home to Nottingham Forest, this Saturday. She will be joined by assistant referees, Helen Edwards [Liverpool CFA] and Magda Golba [Liverpool CFA] and fourth official Stacey Pearson [Somerset CFA]

Speaking of the appointment, match referee Helen Conley said: "I am absolutely thrilled to be appointed to The FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup Final. Receiving any appointment from The FA is a huge honour, however a Cup Final is extra special. It will be a great game played between two of the top women's teams in the country and also a great experience to have the opportunity to officiate at an EFL Championship ground. I am very lucky to have a strong team of colleagues around me in Helen, Magda and Stacey. I am very much looking forward to the occasion."

David Elleray, Chairman of The FA Referees' Committee, added: "The FA Referees' Committee is delighted to appoint Helen Conley as the referee for the first major women's final of 2020 and the Committee is confident that Helen will be very ably supported by assistant referees Helen Edwards and Magda Golba and the fourth official, Stacey Pearson.

"Appointments for such important matches are based on a number of factors, the most important being current performance levels and fitness. With these factors in mind, we had no hesitation in appointing this talented quartet who we are sure will make a very positive contribution to what should be an exciting and entertaining match."

This year's Final will kick off at 5.30pm and be broadcast live on BT Sport 1. Tickets are on sale at £10.00 for adults and £1 for concessions. Full ticket details can be found at www.thefa.com/tickets.
