Swansea City extended their lead at the top of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League to four points when winning 2-0 away to Abergavenny Women on Sunday.
Stacey John-Davis gave Swansea the lead midway through the first half, with Tija Richardson wrapping up the points with the second goal, nine minutes from time.
One other match managed to survive the weather, at Aberystwtyh Town where visitors Port Talbot Town were narrow 2-1 victors, a result which takes Port Talbot back into the top three places. Aber took the lead through Tania Wilde ten minutes before half time and looked to be on their way towards their first points of the season, but then Courteney Thomas brought the scores level midway through the second half and deep into injury time, Lauren Armour broke the home side's hearts when she grabbed the winning goal.
