Brighouse Town notched up the biggest win on the opening day of the Northern Division campaign, Ellie Richardson hitting a hat-trick in their 4-1 success at Liverpool Feds. Murron Alldread added the other goal, with Kenzie Guido replying. Cassidy Clift, Tara Duce, Macy Ellis, Faye Sherrington and an own goal ensured that Huddersfield Town won 5-4 against Leeds Utd whilst Stockport County beat Sheffield FC 4-3 thanks to Imogen Porteous-Williams (2), Rebekah Coe and Millie Edwards. Mia Lawrence-Kay and Chloe Wymer were on target for Durham Utd in their 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough, who replied through an Erin Boyle brace.
In the Midland Division, Nottingham Forest ran out 5-0 winners over Bedworth Utd thanks to doubles from Georgia Gladwin and Charlotte Broad, with Summa Betts adding the other. Kiera Willdigg hit a hat-trick for Crewe Alexandra as they defeated Solihull Moors 6-2, Louisa Black and Shanice Finbow also getting on target along with an own goal, whilst Leicester City were 3-1 victors against Lincoln City. Sheffield Utd won 4-3 against Loughborough Foxes and West Bromwich Albion also edged out Wolverhampton Wanderers by the odd goal in seven, thanks to a goal apiece from Alima Abdallah, Emma Congrave, Freya Owen and Charlie Whitehouse. Sophie Taylor netted both as Stoke City beat Sporting Khalsa 2-1.
Southampton FC have got off to a flying start in the South Division, scoring nine times without reply past Yeovil Utd. Chloe Newton led the scoring with a hat-trick, with the others coming from Georgina Lowe (2), Emilie Castagna, Grace Palmer, Alisha Ware and an own goal. Charlton Athletic sit behind them in second place after Tegan Attree, Olivia Hembrough and Lois Robson gave them a 3-0 victory at Crystal Palace. There were plenty of goals at Oxford Utd where the home side won 6-4 against Keynsham Town. Shannon Ghee and Katie La Cumbre each scored twice for the U's along with Erin Hartigan and an own goal, with Keynsham replying through Amber Coates (2), Elle Butcher and Zoe Ridley. Lauren Callaghan grabbed the only goal of the game for Crawley Wasps in their victory away to Chichester & Selsey, meanwhile Bethany Creese was on target for Lewes as they drew 1-1 with AFC Wimbledon, who scored through Thalia Boardman.
Gemma Howes netted six times and Ella Meadowcroft contributed a further four for Leyton Orient in their emphatic opening win over Hounslow Women in the South East Division. Susan Fagbohun and Chenay Hussey each added a further two and the tally was completed by Natasha Crick and Kayleigh Xidhas. Billericay Town ran out 6-1 winners at Hashtag Utd, courtesy of a Bo Payne hat-trick, Antonietta Green (2) and Ellie Nicholls. Mathilda Finburgh (2), Millie Constantine and Catherine Reeves accounted for the goals as London Bees defeated London City Lionesses 4-2 and Watford were 3-1 victors over West Ham Utd, their markswomen were Charli O'Connor, Rubie Smith and Gemma Biggadike. Natalie Halliday and Lauren Rouse scored the goals for Cambridge Utd as they drew 2-2 with Milton Keynes Dons, whose replies came from Nia Daniels and Charlotte Murphy.
