The SBS Scottish Women's Premier League has only seen two rounds of matches in SWPL 1, but the table has something of a familiar look about it.
Glasgow City sit on top of the table following their 8-1 victory against Forfar Farmington. Kirsty Howat's early goal for City was cancelled out by Donna Paterson but Rachel McLauchlan and Joanne Love, along with a second from Howat, ensured that the reigning Champions were three ahead by half time. Aoife Colvill increased their lead after the restart, Mairead Fulton and Leanne Ross joining her on the scoresheet before Howat completed her hat-trick to round off the scoring.
Hibernian meanwhile are second after running out 6-0 winners away to Motherwell. Rachael Boyle, Charlotte Potts and Amy Muir put Hibs into a three-goal lead at the break and Colette Cavanagh made it four, Potts completed her second and Shannon Leishman netted the final goal late on.
Rangers are the third team on maximum points as they recorded a 1-0 success at Spartans. Demi Vance settled matters with the only goal of the game, on the quarter hour.
Celtic meanwhile bounced back from their opening day defeat and it was Hearts who caught the backlash, being on the end of a 10-0 defeat. Eight different players got on the scoresheet for the Hoops as Natalie Ross and Kathleen McGovern each netted twice along with Summer Green, Rachel Donaldson, Tegan Bowie, Chloe Craig, Anita Moral and Sarah Ewens.
