Watford power back to top
 Women's Football WNL South News - 7 Nov 2020
Watford have returned to the top of the table after scoring eight times without reply against Plymouth Argyle.
Previous leaders Oxford Utd saw their match away to Yeovil Utd postponed and Watford took full advantage, Sarah Wiltshire giving them an early lead with Adekite Fatuga-Dada and Alysha Stojko-Down adding further goals ahead of the break. In the second half, both Fatuga-Dada and Stojko-Down completed their doubles whilst Megan Chandler, Katie O'Leary and Rosie Kmita also got on the scoresheet.
In-form Milton Keynes Dons are in second place after making it four wins and four clean sheets in a row by beating Keynsham Town 2-0. Cherrelle Albert gave the Dons a first half lead and Vicky Barrett wrapped up the win after the break from the penalty spot.
Crawley Wasps kept themselves in touch with the leaders with a 1-0 victory over Portsmouth, who had started the day in second place. Emma Plewa settled a closely fought game with the only goal, midway through the first half.
Chichester & Selsey leapt into the top half as they defeated Hounslow Women 7-0, meaning the division's fixtures yielded four home wins with all four away teams failing to score. Jane Yeates netted a goal in each half for the Sussex side and there was one apiece from Ariana Fleischman, Natasha Wild, Gemma Staple, Sophie Phelps and Sarah Saunders.
