The top three in the SBS Scottish Women's Premier League are starting to pull away from the teams below them, still headed by Glasgow City after they ran out 5-0 winners over Hearts. Rachel McLauchlan opened the scoring for City in the third minute and Aoife Colvill added the second straight after half time. Tyler Toland added the third, before the leaders went on to seal the win with further goals from Jenna Clark and Mairead Fulton. Celtic had momentarily displaced City from the top of the table on Friday night, following their 6-2 victory away to Hibernian. Jodie Bartle put Celtic ahead, with Anita doubling their lead two minutes later and after Rachael Boyle had reduced the arrears from the penalty spot, Anita netted her second and Lisa Robertson scored with a thumping long range effort, before Natalie Ross made it five on the stroke of half time. Charlotte Potts pulled one back for Hibs after the interval but Celtic rounded off a fine night for themselves with a final goal from Summer Green. Rangers meanwhile won 3-1 at Forfar Farmington to remain three points off the pace. Brogan Hay gave Rangers a seventh minute lead which was doubled by Lizzie Arnot, with Donna Paterson pulling a goal back for Forfar before half time. Clare Gemmell made the points secure for Rangers when she scored their third goal late on. Spartans made it two wins on the trot and are up to fifth place after they defeated Motherwell 2-0. The first half was goalless but an own goal put Spartans in front three minutes after the restart and they wrapped up the win midway through the second half thanks to Louise Mason.
