Two of the scheduled four Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League matches went ahead on Sunday, with the other two falling victim to waterlogged pitches. Cardiff Met Women have all but certainly confirmed a place in the top two for themselves in Group One after they defeated Briton Ferry Llansawel 2-0. Ellie Preece put the Archers in front ten minutes before half time and she went on to seal the win with her second goal in injury time. In Group Two, Port Talbot Town kept their hopes of qualifying alive with a 5-1 victory against Cyncoed Ladies. Bethan Lloyd netted a first half brace to put Port Talbot two ahead at the break, with Lauren Amor nettin a third five minutes into the second half. Courtney Thomas put them further ahead and after Caitlin Bevan pulled one back for Cyncoed, Jessica Denscombe rounded off the scoring for Port Talbot with six minutes remaining.
