Queen's Park Rangers won the Capital Senior Cup after beating Actonians Ladies in a penalty shootout in the Final at Bedfont.
Steve Quashie's side twice came from behind during the course of the game and held their nerve during a tense shootout to claim the trophy at the expense of their FAWNL opponents.
Actonians got off to a fast start and took an early lead when Roschelle Shakes fired in from long range and it took a couple of good saves from Lucie White to prevent them from going further ahead. Rangers were to get back on level terms on the half hour as Demi Edwards pounced on a defensive mistake before curling her shot home.
Actonians went back in front through Mella D'Santos, midway through the second half but once again, Rangers fought back and Ellie Searle scored a penalty, five minutes from time, to send the game into a shootout.
Both sides scored twice and missed twice in their first four penalties before the final Actonians kick was missed, leaving Rangers captain Vicky Grieve to step up and slot home the winner for her side.
