Adams recalled to Scotland squad

Melissa Andreatta has named her squad for the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers against Belgium.

Hibernian forward Eilidh Adams makes her return after debuting for the senior team last year whilst Charlotte Newsham retains her spot along with Maria McAneny.

Kirsty Maclean and Chelsea Cornet are both back in the squad after missing out on the last camp due to injury whilst Glasgow City full back Amy Muir also returns.

Scotland go into this window off the back of two emphatic victories against Luxembourg in the opening qualifiers last month. On equal points with Belgium, Scotland sit top of Group B4 with superior goal difference.

The first of the double header between Scotland and Belgium is on Tuesday, 14 April (7.30pm) at Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh. Tickets are priced at £10 adults, £5 concessions, Under-16s and SSC Members free. The teams meet again on Saturday, 18 April (7.30pm BST) at The King Power at Den Dreef Stadium, Leuven.
