Austin and Robinson win SWPL January awards
Eilidh Austin and Abby Robinson have scooped the January 2026 Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) and SWPL2 Player of the Month awards.

The full back continued to show her attacking skills in the match against Glasgow City at Petershill Park. Rangers fought hard to equalise late in the game, with Austin’s contribution down the right wing proving pivotal once again to extend the side’s unbeaten streak in the SPWPL to eight matches.
In the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2 (SPWPL2), Abby Robinson has been a key contributor to Kilmarnock’s success this season. Kilmarnock sit top of the SPWPL2, having not lost a single game so far through 17 matches. Robinson has been in fine goalscoring form from midfield and is currently the second highest scorer in the league on 14 goals.

The other nominees for the January 2026 SWPL Player of the Month award, supported by Park’s Motor Group, were Nicole Kozlova (Glasgow City), Georgia Timms (Heart of Midlothian), and Claire Walsh (Celtic), and for the SWPL2 award were Taylor McGlashan (Kilmarnock), Jess Murphy (Livingston), and Summer Thomson (Queen’s Park).
