Bompastor confirmed as Chelsea manager
Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm Sonia Bompastor will become Head Coach of the women’s team from the start of the 2024-

She led Lyon to a league and European double during her first full season in charge, becoming the first person to win the UEFA Women’s Champions League as both a player and a head coach.
Sonia will be accompanied by her assistants Camille Abily and Theo Rivrin. Abily retired in 2018 after an accomplished playing career in which she made 323 appearances for Lyon and earned 183 national team caps for France.
