Claire Emslie returns for Scotland

Melissa Andreatta has named her squad for the final FIFA Women’s World Cup group stage qualifiers against Israel.

Scotland, who sit on top of Group B4, will travel to Hungary for the double-header in June as the group stages conclude. Both matches against Israel will be played behind closed doors and on neutral ground.

The Bozsik Arena in Budapest will host both matches, the first of which is on Friday 5 June (6pm), with the teams meeting each other again on Tuesday 9 June (7pm). The matches will be broadcast by BBC Scotland and BBC Alba.

Scotland are so far unbeaten in this qualification campaign as they bid to secure promotion back to ‘League A’ and retain pole position ahead of qualification play-offs later this year.

Claire Emslie returns to the squad after giving birth back in December and Christy Grimshaw is also back following a year out with an ACL injuury, whilst Kenzie Weir keeps her place after being called up to the senior squad for the first time in April, having replaced Leah Eddie who dropped out of the Belgium double header through injury.
