Doran-Barr signs new Hibernian deal

Hibernian FC are delighted to announce that Lauren Doran-Barr has signed a new contract that will see her remain in green and white for the 2024/25 season.

 

The wing back has become a mainstay of Grant Scott’s side since joining the Club from Motherwell in July 2023, making 29 appearances and scoring two goals.

Doran-Barr’s initial contract was due to expire this summer; however, the extension guarantees she will remain an important part of Grant Scott’s squad for the forthcoming campaign.

On signing the deal, Lauren said: “I’m pleased to extend my stay here at Hibs. I have only been here 10 months or so, but I have played a lot of minutes, and am looking forward to next season, continuing to develop in a full-time environment.”

Grant Scott commented on Doran-Barr’s extension “Lauren is an important part of the squad and we have seen her progress in her short time at the Club thus far.

“I am glad she has signed another year with us here at Hibernian and we look forward to continuing to see her develop as a player.”
