Rugby Borough had started the day in second but lost a little ground when they shared a 2-2 draw with Liverpool Feds. Ellie Fletcher gave the Feds a first half lead, before Rugby hit back after the break and goals from Nicky Potts and Ebony Wiseman looked to have given them a hard earned win until Fletcher pegged them back with her second goal late on.

West Bromwich Albion are continuing to do well and are up to fourth after a 3-0 success away to Derby County. The home side went into the game in good recent form but after a goalless first half, Phoebe Warner, Ellie May and Francesca Orthodoxou all scored to earn Albion an impressive win.

The spoils were also shared at Loughborough Lightning where the home side and Halifax FC Women finished level at 1-1. An own goal put Loughborough ahead after three minutes but a goal midway through the first half from Bonnie Davies earned Halifax a valuable point which takes them off the bottom of the table.

Middlesbrough notched up their second victory of the season when they defeated Sporting Khalsa 2-0. Leanna Giles and Ellen Turnbull scored the goals which take 'Boro into a mid-table position.
