Plymouth Argyle have been confimed as the runners-up after AFC Bournemouth were beaten 2-0 by Lewes. Both goals came in the first half, Leah Lane and Chelsea Ferguson scoring to keep the Rookettes on course for a top four finish.

The victory takes Lewes up into fourth place, ahead of Oxford Utd after they battled out a 2-2 draw with Real Bedford. Real twice took the lead, with Melis Mehmet scoring on each occasion, but two equalisers from Holly Manders ensured that the U's picked up a share of the spoils.

Division One North

Huddersfield Town are the Champions and will make their return to the third tier following two crucial victories to take themselves over the line. On Sunday, they defeated rivals Cheadle Town Stingers 4-0 to put themselves on the verge of landing the title. Louise Biggins gave Town the lead after seven minutes and after the break, a double from Rhema Lord-Mears and a late strike by Jessica Lightfoot wrapped up an impressive victory.

Huddersfield followed this up on Wednesday night with a title clinching 5-0 success away to York City. Louise Biggins, Beth Ibbotson, Laura Elford and Tamira Livingston ensured that Town were four ahead going into half time, before Livingston crowned the win after the break with her second goal.

This leaves Cheadle Town Stingers and Leeds Utd fighting for the play-off spot, whilst Wythenshawe are on course for a top four finish in their first full season in the league. They moved up to fourth by scoring seven times without reply past York City, Rachael Dunlop hitting a hat-trick and Ciara Boylan contributing a brace, with Chelsea Flanagan and Ella Ritchie also getting on the scoresheet.

Chester-le-Street Town meanwhile have achieved safety with a 1-0 win away to Doncaster Rovers Belles, who remain in the bottom two. Jenny Ashton scored the only goal of the game in the fourteenth minute to guarantee the Cestrians will be playing National League next season.

Division One Midlands

Having already clinched the title, Peterborough Utd are one match away from completing the season unbeaten after they won 2-0 away to Sheffield FC. Jessica Stanford put the Posh Women ahead in the eighteenth minute and they sewed up the points with six minutes remaining, when Jessica Rousseau scored the second.
