Grace Fisk signs new Liverpool contract

Grace Fisk has signed a new contract with Liverpool FC Women.

The 27-year-old defender has extended her stay with the Reds after arriving from West Ham in the summer of 2023.

Her versatility has seen Fisk operate at her favoured centre back but also as a right wing back and a right full back. Such was the quality of her performances in her first season, she was voted the Players’ Player of the Year by her team mates and was shortlisted in the Northwest Football Awards for Player of the Year.

Fisk has so far made 45 appearances for Liverpool FC Women and scored two goals.

On signing her new contract, she said: “I’ve really been happy during my time at Liverpool so far and I’m happy to accept.

“I still can’t believe it’s only my second year here as it definitely feels like so much longer. It was a pretty easy decision for me in the end because I’ve loved my time here so far and look forward to the future.

“We have such a good group of players which again is a big part in why I wanted to stay because we do have such a good group and quality of players here.

“This year hasn’t been what we hoped bouncing off last season, but we want to build on that and we know we have the quality and the potential so as a club we just hope we can keep improving.”

Fisk and her team mates will return to action next weekend with an Adobe Women’s FA Cup fixture semi final away at Chelsea.
