Genero Adran Leagues

Genero Adran Premier pacesetters Cardiff City made a flying start to Phase Two, securing a convincing 5-1 victory over The New Saints at Park Hall to extend their lead at the top.

The Bluebirds threatened early, with Madison Lloyd striking the crossbar inside three minutes before taking the lead in the seventh. Mackenzie Olden's corner was flicked on by Lloyd to Shannon Evans, who drilled home into the bottom corner. Two minutes later, another Olden set-piece paid dividends as Maddison Perrott headed in powerfully.

Lily Billingham rounded off a blistering opening quarter hour by curling home from close range off Lloyd's pass for her first goal since November. Olden went close twice more before the break – hitting the post and seeing a tight angle effort cleared off the line – but Cardiff made it 4-0 just before the hour when Lloyd poked home her 10th league goal of the season from Olden's short pass.

TNS pulled one back on 68 minutes through Caitlin Chapman's composed finish from a tight angle after Lexie Harrison's through ball. However, Evans restored the four-goal cushion six minutes later, heading Ffion Price's free kick into the bottom corner. Iain Darbyshire's side now sit four points clear of second placed Wrexham, who hold a game in hand following the postponement of their match with Swansea City.

Barry Town United moved up to sixth courtesy of a 3-0 win against Aberystwyth Town at Jenner Park. The sides were level at the break, but Jasmine Turner broke the deadlock just one minute into the second half with a stunning long range strike. An own goal from Tirion Sedgwick doubled the advantage on 65 minutes, before Sienna Stone's dipping effort into the top corner late on sealed the points for James Fishlock's Linnets, who leapfrogged their opponents in the standings.

Genero Adran North

Connah’s Quay Nomads strengthened their grip on top spot in the Genero Adran North with a 3-2 victory over Felinheli at Treborth, moving themselves six points clear. The Nomads struck after just nine seconds when Ella Jones latched onto Polly Wild-McGregor's flick-on and sent a dipping volley over Catrin Beech. Phoebe Ellis added a second six minutes before half time, finding the top corner from distance with her first senior goal in over a year after Natasha Spearing's pass. Felinheli halved the deficit from the penalty spot in the 77th minute through Katie Houghton after Tia Lockley's foul on Jordanne Greenough, but Jones immediately restored the two-goal cushion, drilling low into the net from Ellis's cross for her 20th league goal this season. The hosts grabbed a late consolation in stoppage time when Llywela Edwards' free-kick was spilled by Ruby Stevens, allowing Jenna Allsup to head home from close range. Connah’s Quay held firm to preserve their perfect record and bolster their title credentials.

Flint Town United claimed a second consecutive victory, coming from behind to win 3-1 at Bangor. Home captain Ffion Bee bundled home from a goalmouth scramble after 10 minutes, but Daisy Hughes levelled nine minutes before the interval with a first time finish on a loose ball – her first goal in nearly two years. Shannon Hobbs completed the turnaround on the stroke of half time from Beth Roberts' square pass. Roberts turned provider again early in the second half, setting up Rebecca Eagles – in her first match since being named player-manager – to fire into the roof of the net. A resolute defensive showing secured the points, leaving Flint just two points shy of matching last season's entire tally. Bangor meanwhile stay seventh, two points above bottom side Berriew (who have two games in hand after their Llandudno postponement).

Genero Adran South

Cardiff Met Women maintained their three point advantage at the summit of the Genero Adran South with a 2-0 win over title rivals Carmarthen Town at Cyncoed Stadium. An evenly contested first half yielded few chances, but the Archers broke through in the 61st minute when Hannah Rayner skilfully beat the defence to tee up Esme Kilburn-Thompson, who fired in via the post for her fifth goal in three games. Carys Gittins wrapped up the victory eleven minutes later, powering a header past Ffion Ashman from Olivia Barnes' corner. Jonathan Nash's side have now won five league matches in a row for the first time since October 2022.

Pure Swansea kept the gap to leaders Cardiff Met to three points after a 3-0 victory over Taffs Well at the SU Sports Centre. Annabel Stokes struck twice in five first half minutes – finishing from Lowri Baker's pass and converting from the penalty spot – to put Chris Church's side in control. Hannah Duffy added a third with eight minutes remaining to seal the points. Swansea stay three points adrift of Met, who have a game in hand, while Taffs Well drop to the bottom on goal difference following the defeat.

Penybont secured their second successive win when defeating Llanelli Town 3-1 at Stebonheath. The visitors took the lead on 29 minutes when Llanelli's Meghan Roles turned into her own net. Cerys Jones took full control after the restart, doubling the advantage one minute into the second half and adding her second in the 64th minute – taking her tally to seven goals in her last five league outings. Substitute Nadia Phillips pulled one back for Llanelli, but Bont held on for all three points.
