Passmoor confirmed as Leicester manager

Leicester City Women are delighted to confirm the permanent appointment of Rick Passmoor as their First Team Manager.

Rick has signed a contract to the summer of 2028 to lead the team after an impressive spell as Interim Manager during the opening stages of the 2025-26 Barclays Women’s Super League season, which has seen the team take points from both Liverpool and Everton in recent weeks.

Director of Women’s and Girls’ Football, Lee Billiard said: “Rick has made a really positive impact since stepping into the role. His knowledge of the game, calm leadership and commitment to developing players have all been evident from the start. The team and staff have responded well to his approach, and we’re excited to continue building under his guidance.”

Speaking to LCFC.com, Rick said: “I am very privileged and very honoured to be at this Football Club. I want to ensure we continue to progress and further establish ourselves in the WSL..

“This is a proud Football Club with proud fans and a fantastic Board of Directors. There’s history on the men’s side, and we want to make sure we leave a legacy with LCFC Women.”

Rick brings more than two decades of experience within women’s and men’s football to Belvoir Drive having previously held senior roles with Leeds United, Lincoln City Ladies, and Notts County Women.

Most recently, Rick spent two successful years with fellow WSL side West Ham United as Assistant Manager, where he helped the Hammers achieve their highest ever points total and most home wins in a single season.
