The Regional Leagues


East Midlands League


Rotherham Utd took over at the top of the Premier Division when a double from Delia Hurdiss saw them to a 2-0 win away to Anstey Nomads. They lead the way by a point from Gainsborough Trinity who are back up into second with a 2-0 success at Wellingborough Town, Heather Gardener and Natalie Thomas scoring their goals. Chesterfield FC Women complete the top four after Evie Carter was on target in a 1-0 victory over Stamford AFC Women.


The top two in Division One North did not play and they have been joined on six points by Arnold Eagles, who beat Newark Town 3-1 with goals from Hannah Daniel, Abbie Lockton and Yasmine Uppal. A solitary strike from Katie Pease earned Lincoln Utd Development a 1-0 win against Notts County Development and also off the mark are Belper Town, 3-2 victors over Chesterfield Community Trust courtesy of Phallon Symcox, Olivia Froggatt and Alice Faulding.


In Division One Central, Nottingham Trent University have picked up the pace, going top after a Haleigh Finale hat-trick, Claudia Dawkins and Helen Clee fired them to a 5-1 victory over Sherwood FC Women. They lead the way on goal difference from Long Eaton Utd who were the day's other winners, beating West Bridgford Colts 2-0 thanks to Mia Newton and Georgia Loveless.


Leicester City Ladies came from two goals behind to beat Northampton Town Development 3-2, a brace from substitute Jenna White and a Lauren Hill goal earning them a result which sees them take over as leaders of Division One South by two points from previous leaders Dunton & Broughton Utd who shared a goalless draw with Thrapston FC Women. Newport Pagnell Town are up into the top three following their 2-0 success at Brackley Town, Chloe Martin and Isobel Bartos scoring their goals.


Eastern Region League


Watford Development are up into second place in the Premier Division, one point behind leaders Stevenage Women, after Rebecca Lovelace, Olivia Oshodi and Jada Deane gave them a 3-1 win away to St Albans City. The other top division resulted in a goalless draw between Enfield Town and Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers.  


Division One North leaders Histon made it seven wins on the trot when beating Cambridge City 2-1 with Evie Nicholls scoring both goals. Stevenage Women Development remain five points behind in second place after Tegan Wilson scored the only goal of the game in their 1-0 win over Hitchin Belles whilst Real Bedford Res defeated Thetford Town 3-0 thanks to a Lauren Hawkins hat-trick. Marie Stubbings and Grace Muffett both scored doubles as a fightback from Fulbourn Institute Bluebirds earned them a 4-4 draw with Newmarket Town, who had led through Millie Docking, Holly Dryland, Abbi Griffin and an own goal. Mulbarton Wanderers meanwhile won 2-0 against Biggleswade Utd with Alanta Griffith and Skyler Collins on the scoresheet.


Hashtag Utd Res climbed into second place in Division One South, five points behind leaders Chelmsford City, following their 8-0 victory over Stanway Pegasus Women. Sophia Mylona led the scoring with a five-goal haul and Chelise Fleming bagged a hat-trick. Natalie Powell was on target for Hertford Town as they battled out a 1-1 draw with Southend Utd, who netted through Ellie Nicholls, whilst the match between Toby FC Women and Brantham Athletic finished goalless.


London & South East League


One match was played in the Premier Division on Sunday, goals from Rebecca Keyte, Imogen Saunders, Alex Witham and Kara Richardson giving Aylesford a 4-1 victory over Sport London e Benfica, a result which takes them up into fourth place.


Hammersmith have powered further clear in Division One North, extending their lead to a whopping twelve points with a 4-0 victory over Richmond & Kew. Rachel Anderson and Aya Mirjan put them ahead, before Sofia Aujla-Jones netted a second half double. Dulwich Hamlet Res are now third, they defeated Herne Bay 3-1 courtesy of Mikaela Beynon, Shakirra Sesay and Anna Stones.


In Division One South, Bognor Regis Town moved into second place when Macie Downs and Lola Bowditch scored in their 2-0 victory away to Sevenoaks Town. Three teams are now level on points in the pursuit of the leaders including Saltdean Utd Development who beat Ashmount Leigh 2-1 with goals from Jess Fry and Isabelle Stray, whilst a win would have taken Steyning Town Community would have taken them level on points with Eastbourne Borough but they were beaten 1-0 by Hastings Utd, Brooke Nicholson-Rogan scoring the only goal of the game.


North East League


A second half fightback from Park View earned them a 3-3 draw with Birtley Town and this point has seen them take over as the new Northern Division leaders. A Christina Aniamai double and Amelie Scott gave them a share of the spoils after Birtley had led through a Sophia Winship hat-trick. Washington Women are now second after Ava Shaw netted twice and Sophie Slasor the other in their 3-2 win over Norton & Stockton Ancients Res and Redcar Town have also won both of their opening games, beating Berwick Rangers Community Academy 2-1 with Lydia Maidens and Tiana Hill on target.


In the Southern Division, Nicole Shaw and Michaela Barrett supplied the goals as Sheffield Wednesday defeated Millmoor Juniors Ladies 2-0 to go level on points with leaders Leeds Modernians. Shirley Murphy scored a hat-trick and others came from Emily Kilroy and Georgina Kaye as Farsley FC Women won 5-3 against York City Development to move up into third, just ahead of Altofts Ladies who beat Rossington Main 1-0 with a first half goal from Nadine Bates.


North West League


FA Cup duties meant that only one match was played in Division One North on Sunday, Bolton Wanderers Res taking advantage by further stretching their lead to twelve points with a 2-0 victory over Chorley Women Development. Lacey Taylor gave Bolton an early lead, before Gracie Wolfendale wrapped up a ninth straight win with the second after the break.


The only other action in the league came in the Alliance Design & Print Cup, where Runcorn Linnets booked their place in the First Round with a 5-0 victory over Liverpool Feds Res. Mollie Bennett was on target twice along with Jessica Bazley, Georgina Oxley and Sophie Rotheram to line Runcorn up with a trip to Ashton Town in the next round.

South West League


Pucklechurch Sports have taken over at the top of the Premier Division for the first time after they defeated Saltash Utd 2-1. With many of the teams around them involved in the FA Cup, Pucklechurch took full advantage to take the points with goals from Amy Jefferies and Courtney Adams, with Beth Prouse replying for the Ashes. Frampton Rangers meanwhile notched up their first win, a brace from Shannon Francis earning them a 2-1 success away to Bishop's Lydeard, whose consolation came from Milena Wisniewska.


Cirencester Town remain on top of Division One North but saw their winning start come to a halt when they were beaten 2-0 by Whitchurch Ladies. Hannah Gillett and Ilarna Nche netted first half goals to seal a fine result for Whitchurch. Maddy Brown and Rebecca Fry accounted for the goals as Bath City moved up into second place with a 2-1 victory over Downend Flyers, whose reply came from Yasmin West. Neve McAusland, Gigi Cliffe and Naomi Baldwin were on target for Gloucester City Res as they won 3-2 against AFC Brislington, for whom Rhianna Ben-Carew scored both goals, whilst Paulton Rovers registered their first point of the season when Alisha Stuart scored in their 1-1 draw with Stockwood Wanderers, who netted through Isabella Marsh.


FA Cup commitments meant that only one match was played in Division One South, Appledore Women recording their first victory of the season when beating Wells City 6-2. Laylah Windsor led the scoring with a hat-trick, Beth Ellis weighed in with a double and Hannah Neve was also on target for the Devon side, with Wells' replies coming from Sophie Hart and Poppy Lott.


Southern Region League


Fleet Town recorded their second win of the season in the Premier Division when they scored seven times without reply past Woodley Utd. Layla Drury and Avery Tolley each netted twice and they were joined on the scoresheet by Emily Hulford-Funnell, Zoe Luff and Jocelyn Elleby.


Abingdon Utd Development are back on top of Division One North following their 4-0 victory at Farnborough FC Women. Beth Hawtin netted a brace and the others came from April England and Olivia Ward. Abingdon lead the way on goal difference from Oxford City Development who actually went better on the day, scoring six times without reply past Milton Utd thanks to Megan Fillary (2), Tilly Anthony, Olivia Day, Abbie Johnson and Michaela O'Hanlon. Tilehurst Panthers are three points off the pace after a first half goal from Leah Why earned them a 1-0 win away to Chesham Utd Development, meanwhile Kiera Isaac hit a hat-trick and Emily Keal the other for Kidlington Youth but it still wasn't enough as they drew 4-4 with Slough Town, who responded through Aimee Roberts (2), Hannah Summers and Gemma Lunn.


West Midlands League


The only league action came in Division One South where Knowle preserved their leadership with a 4-1 victory away to Halesowen Town. Trina Greaves scored two of the goals, with Jessica Barlow and Darcey Garner adding the others to keep Knowle top on goal difference from Worcester City Res, who defeated Hereford Pegasus 3-1 thanks to Victoria Snape (2) and Ava Bond-Evans. Bromsgrove Sporting moved into third, one point off the pace, after Amy Goodison and Elloise Russell gave them a 2-1 win against Droitwich Spa. Kingfisher notched up their first victory, beating Long Itchington 6-1 courtesy of a Chloe Bailey hat-trick, Evie Burke (2) and Charley-Paige Skidmore.
