The Regional Leagues
East Midlands League
Mansfield Town rounded off a fine season for themselves with a 1-0 victory over Loughborough Foxes Vixens in the Final of the League Cup. Having finished third in the Premier Division and lifted the County Cup, Andi Bell's side captured their second piece of silverware in the campaign when 16-year-old Millie Mellors scored the only goal of the game against the league runners-up.
The day began with SJR Worksop winning the League Plate for the second season in a row by beating Gainsborough Trinity 2-0 in the Final. Division One North title winners Trinity went into the game seeking a second trophy but it was SJR who triumphed on the day with goals from Chelsea Bailey and Laura Ferguson.
London & South East League
After suffering the disappointment of losing their title decider to Dartford the previous Sunday, Saltdean Utd bounced back with their nineteenth victory of the season in the final game, winning 2-1 away to sixth placed Dorking Wanderers. Georgia Bridges and Izzy Glass-Oliver scored the goals which mean that Saltdean will finish a single point behind the Darts, whilst Dorking's consolation came from Mia Ring.
The destination of the Division One North title was decided on a dramatic last day and it was long time leaders Hammersmith who lifted the trophy, following their 2-1 victory over AFC Greenwich Borough. Aya Mirjan and Shakira Waithe scored the goals for Hammersmith, with Aliyah Sheridan replying, after they had started the day in second place behind Bromley who faced a difficult trip to third placed Camden Town and the resulting goalless draw meant they had to settle for the runners-up position.
North East League
The last game of the season in the Premier Division produced plenty of goals, with Ponteland Utd winning 7-4 away to Brunsmeer Athletic. Rhian Roe hit a hat-trick for Ponteland, who end the campaign in fifth place, and she was joined on the scoresheet by Chloe Adam, Ebonie Knox, Hannah McIntosh and Nicole Dack.
Handsworth fell just short of the target they needed in order to lift the Southern Division when they defeated Lower Hopton 5-1. They needed a six-goal margin of victory going into the game and the result means that Leeds Modernians have won the title. despite Handsworth scoring through Abby Watkinson (2), Mya Carnall, Delia Hurdiss and Danielle Pinder.
Leeds Modernians meanwhile crowned a fantastic day for themselves with a second trophy, carrying off the League Cup with a 2-0 victory against Premier Division opponents South Shields in the Final. Shameeka Fishley and Crystal Boyce scored the goals to help their side complete a League and Cup 'double', with both trophies on on the same day.
South West League
Torquay Utd completed the League and Cup double with a 5-0 victory over Poole Town in the Premier Division Cup Final at Bishop's Lydeard. Beth Everson, Matilda Franchi, Mollie Taylor, Jasmine Barker and Connie Pengelly all scored a goal apiece as Torquay added to the league title they secured seven days earlier.
The Division One North title race has been an interesting one throughout, going to wire after no less than six different teams had led the table at some stage during the course of the season. In the end it was Royal Wootton Bassett Town who lifted the trophy as they picked up the result they needed in the final game, beating Paulton Rovers 5-0. Chantelle Scott spearheaded the win by scoring a hat-trick, with Lauren Bulley and Kelly Nightingale adding the other goals. Corsham Town finish two points behind in second place as they did all they could, beating Stockwood Wanderers 4-2. Madeline Elliott netted twice along with Shannon Redhouse and Millie Turner, whilst Toni Blenkinsopp - on her last appearance before retirement - and Maddison Stadden replied for Stockwood. Bitton have had a great season but fell narrowly short of silverware in all three competitions, their 2-2 draw with local rivals Mangotsfield Utd meaning they finish third. Helena Constantinou scored both goals for the Mangos, including a late equaliser which denied Bitton the runners-up spot after they had scored through Layla Soppelsa and Skye Coole. Rosie Burridge and Clodagh Moran were both on target as Bath City finished on a winning note, with a 2-1 success away to Downend Flyers whose consolation came from Annabel Bean.
Southern Region League
Winchester City Flyers finish as runners-up in the Premier Division after they won 3-0 away to Fleet Town. The game was goalless at half time but after the break, Charlie Snelling, Shayne Prasad an own goal made sure that Winchester finish off one point behind champions Wycombe Wanderers. Danielle Kjaer (2) and Julia Pietrzyk accounted for the goals as Southampton Women were 3-1 winners at Sholing and they must wait to see if they finish in third as they can still be overtaken by AFC Portchester, whose hopes of a top two finish came to an end when they were beaten 2-1 by Oxford City, who scored through Yasmin Edwards and Emily Harris.
In Division One North, Farnborough completed their season on a winning note with a 5-3 success against Tilehurst Panthers. Lily Stride, Laura Quinn-Low, Eliza Andrews and Sienna Catt were all on target for Farnborough, whilst Deanna Cane hit a hat-trick for Tilehurst but ended up on the losing side.
Farnham Town picked up another victory on Sunday, which means they are now eight points clear at the top of Division One South, the title winners notching up a 7-3 success away to Bursledon.
West Midlands League
Redditch Borough guaranteed themselves a top three place on Tuesday night when they defetaed Shrewsbury Town 4-0. Alisha Sherdian scored a hat-trick and Jessica Hood the other as Redditch made a winning end to their campaign, two days after beating Coventry Sphinx 2-0 with Sheridan netting both. Only Shifnal Town can still beat them to second place but they suffered a midweek setback when going down 4-3 to Coventry Sphinx whose markswomen were Madison Norton (2), Holly Webb and Amanda Whalley. On Sunday, Lily Jackson and Steph Kingston scored the goals as Port Vale won 2-1 against Shrewsbury Town and Coundon Court defeated Solihull Moors 3-2 thanks to Eva Burgess, Sophie Shale and Marianne Taho.
Division One South champions Knowle have a lead of nine points after Darcey Garner, Trina Greaves and Demi Booth gave them a 3-1 victory away to Crusaders. Rubi-Rose Bradley and Lucy Stephens were on target for Halesowen Town in their 2-1 win against Redditch Utd, whilst Crusaders bounced back from their defeat to beat Bromsgrove Sporting 2-0 in midweek, courtesy of Megan Jenkins and Dani Selmes.
