Chloe Warrington signs new Glasgow City deal

Glasgow City are delighted to announce Chloe Warrington has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

Warrington, who joined the club from Celtic in the summer of 2022, extends her stay until the summer of 2026. The full back has made 38 appearances in all competitions since making her debut in a 4-0 victory over Hibernian in 2022.

Commenting on her new deal, Warrington said: “I’m delighted to sign another deal with Glasgow City. I have really enjoyed the past two years here as a player. I feel like I have still got a lot more to give to this club and I am excited to see where these next couple of years takes me.”

Head Coach Leanne Ross added: “The club have completed a great piece of business in reaching an agreement with Chloe to extend her contract at Glasgow City.

“It is easy to forget that Chloe is still only 21 years old with what she has already achieved in the game. With a first SWPL title under her belt last season, adding to her Champions League experience and youth international caps at all age groups, Chloe has proven her ability to play at the top level and for that reason has been such an important part of our squad over the last two season.

“Chloe is brilliant to work with, she comes in every day, keeps her head down and gives everything in training to develop herself and the team. Her winning mentality is clear to see, she is tenacious, determined and one hundred percent focused on carrying out her role in the team to the best of her ability.

“I am extremely happy Chloe is extended her stay at the club. I value the contribution she has already made in her two years here and I am confident we can help her to develop further and play an important role in delivering future success for the club.”
