FA Women’s National League 
Northern Premier Division
Rugby Borough made it three wins out of three and they have taken over the early leadership of the table following their 1-0 win against Norwich City. A 21st minute own goal separated the teams on the day and helped Rugby to continue their winning start.
Moving into second place, meanwhile are Huddersfield Town after they returned from Boldmere St Michaels with a 4-2 victory under their belts. Rhema Lord-Mears put Town in front, before Laura Elford increased their advantage with a double either side of half time. Skye Owen reduced the arrears for the home team but a fourth from Louise Biggins sealed the points, despite an injury time reply from Mia Lawson-Spencer.
Liverpool Feds also enjoyed a good win on their travels, 4-1 at Liverpool Feds, and this takes them into the top three. The first half was goalless but after Chantelle Thompson put the Feds ahead on the hour, they went on to add further goals through Jessica Brady, Georgia Walters and Henna Butcher before Hull netted an injury time consolation through Sian Gibrill-Keating.
Stoke City had started the day on top of the table but they went down to their first defeat, beaten 1-0 by Loughborough Lighning. Evie Williams scored the only goal of the game with ten minutes remaining, to hand Loughborough their first points of the new campaign.
West Bromwich Albion also got themselves off the mark when they defeated Peterborough Utd 3-1. Phoebe Hollin opened the scoring for Albion on the half hour mark, with Ellie May equalising for the Posh Women shortly afterwards, but Riya Mannu put them back in front on the stroke of half time. Rhianne Rush wrapped up the win for her side with their third goal, eight minutes into the second half.
Remarkably, after only three rounds of matches at the start of the season, each team in the division has recorded at least one victory and Derby County also got themselves on the board by beating Middlesbrough 1-0. Three of the six matches in the division were settled by a single goal with Dolcie O'Connor on target, just before half time.
Southern Premier Division
The top three continue to blaze an early trail as each of them recorded a convincing home victory to keep up their respective winning starts. The table is still headed by Oxford Utd after they scored five times without reply past Cheltenham Town, their impressive start to the new season by running out 3-0 winners over Lewes. All of the goals came in the first half, Nicola Gibson putting the U's in front before Holly Manders netted twice to take her tally to four goals in the opening two games.
Fulham meanwhile matched Oxford by also recording a 5-0 win, against Plymouth Argyle. All five goals came in the first half, Rianna Dean and Charlie Estcourt putting them two up inside the opening sixteen minutes and Anna Grey quickly adding a third. Estcourt then completed her double before Sophie Gillies rounded off the scoring in first half injury time.
AFC Bournemouth notched up a 4-1 success against Hashtag Utd, to ensure they are also on nine points. The Cherrries led at half time through a goal from Jenna Markham and after Ruby Doe levelled the scores within a minute of the restart, Markham scored a second soon afterwards to restore their advantage. Two late goals then confirmed the points for Bournemouth, with Tamara Wilcock and Charlotte Harris on target.
Real Bedford bounced back from defeat seven days earlier to beat Swindon Town 2-1 and move themselves up to fourth place. Lily Whitelock gave Real an early lead which was cancelled out on the half hour by Annabelle Colston, before Zynia Delglyn netted a decisive second with seventeen minutes remaining.
Exeter City registered their first league victory of the season, running out 3-1 winners over Lewes. Ellie Sara bagged a first half brace for Exeter and she went on to complete her hat-trick midway through the second half, before the Rookettes grabbed a consolation through Olivia Hibbert-Johnson.
Division One North
Leeds Utd have taken over as the new leaders of the division as they maintained their superb start with a five-goal victory away to Chorley. Darcey Green opened the scoring on the half hour and she went on to complete a hat-trick after the break, while Ellie White and Alice Hughes added the other goals for Leeds who are yet to concede a goal in their opening three matches.
Joining Leeds on nine points at the top are AFC Fylde who were also 5-0 winners against Durham Cestria. Ocean Flanagan gave the Coasters a first half lead which was doubled on the stroke of half time by an own goal. After the break, Molly Kelly added two further goals, either side of a strike from Emma Hickson.
Stockport County had started the day on the top of the table but went down to their first defeat of the season, beaten 5-3 by Halifax FC Women who join them on six points. Eva Buckley gave Halifax a third minute lead which was cancelled out by Ellie Fletcher, before Farah Crompton and Neve Renwick added further goals for the visitors ahead of the interval. Emily Burke and Marli Rhodes-Andrews also found the net during the second half to crown a fine result for Halifax, despite County replying through Madison Robinson and Meg Boydell.
Bradford City got back to winning ways with a 4-0 success away to previously unbeaten Blackburn Rovers. Ava Spencer-Smith netted a goal in each half for City and she was joined on the scoresheet by Matilda Fernie and Katja May.
Thornaby Women also claimed their second win of the season when defeating Chester-le-Street Town 3-1. Laura Hockaday put the Cestrians in front with six minutes on the clock but Thornaby hit back strongly to take the points through a Danielle Nango double and Eve Gatens.
York City recorded their first victory of the season, a 1-0 success against Norton & Stockton Ancients. Felicity Jones settled matters when she scored the only goal of the game, fourteen minutes from time.
Division One Midlands
Sporting Khalsa's flying start to the season continued with a third straight win as they scored eight times without reply past Sheffield FC. Rosie Axten put them ahead after three minutes and Ruby Millington netted twice in quick succession, going on to complete a hat-trick after the break. Axten also netted her second and also on target were Meg Cann, Ella Sharp and Hope Busher.
Keeping pace with Sporting Khalsa in second place are Leafield Athletic, their match was a much closer affair as they won 1-0 against Chesterfield. Gemma Fraser netted the only goal of the game, midway through the second half.
Wythenshawe are in third place after they were beaten for the first time this season, 2-1 by Kidderminster Harriers. First half goals from Amber Lawrence and Reia Henry earned Harriers their first win of the new campaign, whilst Wythenshawe's late consolation came from Jessica Stafford.
Barnsley Women made it two wins on the trot, a 2-1 success against Lye Town. Alicia Robinson gave Lye the lead midway through the first half but an equaliser from Lucy Cook in first half injury time proved to be the turning point and Madison Green netted Barnsley's winner seven minutes from time.
Notts County are also on six points following a 1-0 victory away to Northampton Town. The game was decided by a goal midway through the first half from Annie Taylor.
Worcester City notched up their first points of the season with a 3-0 win over Sutton Coldfield Town at the Sixways Stadium. Nyah Edwards put City ahead during the first half and Jessica Fassnidge made it two on the hour, before Evie Billingsley wrapped up the win with the third.
Division One South East
London Bees kept up their winning start to the campaign when they won 4-1 away to newly promoted Saltdean Utd. Hayley Hoare and Betty Larkin put the Bees two ahead inside twelve minutes and Niamh Cashin made it three ahead of half time. Danielle Lane pulled one back for Saltdean just after the hour, before Gemma Biggadyke added the final goal for the Bees.
Actonians Ladies head the chasing teams after London Bees, holding on to second place with a 6-1 victory over Billericay Town. Wiktoria Fronc had a great day for the As, giving them a first half lead before going on to score five times in all. Steph McCaffrey weighed in with the other goal whilst Billericay's consolation came from Mia Robins.
Cambridge Utd now occupy third place after coming from behind to win 3-2 against Dulwich Hamlet. Leila Emmerson gave Hamlet the lead shortly before half time but after the interval, the U's hit back strongly to take the points with strikes from Abbie Jackson, Mollie Coupar and Cheyanna Burnett-Griffith, despite a late reply from Summer Roberts.
Queen's Park Rangers also returned to winning ways and also registered their second success of the season, 1-0 away to Milton Keynes Dons. There was late drama at Stadium MK where Nicole Barrett scored the only goal of the game during injury time.
Chatham Town are the division's other unbeaten team after their clash with Stevenage Women finished in a goalless draw. The result means that the Chats are in fifth place, one point and position ahead of Stevenage.
Honours were also even in the other game as Dartford and Luton Town finished level at 1-1. Luton led for much of the game through a goal on the half hour by Emily Wilson but the Darts were to have the final say as Abbey Davies salvaged a point with a late equaliser.
Division One South West
Moneyfields hold on to the early leadership of the division on goal difference, thanks to a 4-0 victory over Marine Academy Plymouth. Kaylee Buckingham gave the Moneys a first half lead which was doubled on the stroke of half time by Megan Fox, with both players netting a second after the break.
Bridgwater Utd moved up into second place by scoring six times without reply past Ascot Utd. Megan Jarvis and Beatriz Kretteis both scored inside the opening ten minutes and Rosie Hill quickly added a third. Katie Jones further increased their lead ahead of half time and after the break, Kretteis netted her second and Manfy Sharpe rounded off the scoring.
Wycombe Wanderers continued their fine start to life in the National League with a third win on the trot, 3-2 away to Bournemouth Sports. Mimi Hodges and an own goal put Wycombe two ahead early on but a brace of goals, either side of half time, brought Sports back on level terms. The match was settled twelve minutes from time, when Jessica Watkins grabbed the winner for Wycombe.
On the day of the club's 80th anniversary celebrations at Northcourt Road, Abingdon Utd lifted themselves up into the top half following their 3-2 victory against Keynsham Town, who once again went down to a narrow defeat. An early strike for Abingdon by Amelie Mayani was quickly cancelled out by Alaiya Beale, with Chloe Forrester restoring the home side's advantage before the interval. A goal midway through the second half by Anais Harris-Beecher was enough to give Abingdon the points, despite Sachiko Kaneko-Grun pulling one back for Keynsham late on.
After defeats in their opening two matches, it was third time lucky for Maidenhead Utd as they claimed their first victory of the season, 2-0 away to Bristol Rovers. Two goals in a three minute spell during the first half from Izzy Stockton and Katie Akerman put them in control of matters and Rovers were never able to recover, with Maidenhead producing an impressive performance.
