Eastern Region League
Three wins out of three for Haringey Borough and they have a lead of two points in the fledgling Premier Division table following their 4-1 victory over Watford Development. Georgia Brandon, Tayla Dennis, Nia Garwood and Faitma Husein all scored for Haringey who head the table from Royston Town, who move up to second after running out 4-0 winners against Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers thanks to an Isabella Teague brace, Katie Boyle and Katie Hayes. Brentwood Town netted eight times without reply past Harpenden Town to go third, Poppy Binding and Layla Kenly each hitting hat-tricks with Matilda Philpot and Bronte Young adding the others. Kate Edwards and Sheryce Slater were on target for AFC Sudbury in their 2-1 success at Wroxham and Histon defeated St Albans City 3-0 thanks to Evie Nicholls (2) and Ella Marden.
The teams who occupied the top two positions in Division One North met each other on Sunday and it was Luton Town Development who emerged as 2-1 winners over Real Bedford Development, courtesy of Princess Mgbemere and Lauren Sullivan. Luton therefore have a lead of five points with Costessey Sports now in second place after beating Thetford Town 6-2 with a Thea Hackney hat-trick and others from Alyssia Baldock, Alisha Juby and Chloe Moulton. Despite goals from Molly Blair and Brittany Holdsworth, Ampthill Town drew for the third match in a row, 2-2 against Newmarket Town who scored through Jasmine Fox and Abbie Corbyn, whilst Hitchin Belles won for the first time, 2-1 against Dunstable with Holly Thomson scoring both goals.
With Leyton Orient not in league action, two teams join them on six points in Division One South with AFC Sudbury Res now in top spot following their 5-0 victory over Colchester Utd, Elena Kendall netting twice along with Elise Proctor, Latoya Bengisu and an own goal. Ewelina Przybylek and Abigail Woolivin were on target for Chelmsford City in their 2-0 win against Southend Utd which takes them into third. whilst Hertford Town defeated Wormley Rovers 2-1 thanks to Emily Warren and Charlie Mills.
The League Cup opened up with First Round matches on Sunday and Enfield Town came through a tricky tie at Needham Market with a 4-2 victory, Chelise Fleming on target twice along with Samantha Malyon and Rhylee Cadwallender. Leyton Orient also progressed by beating AFC Welwyn 5-1 courtesy of Amy Yeldham (2), Lily Aungier, Shannon Wason and Danielle Hindley.
London & South East League
Wiktoria Kiszkis led the scoring with a hat-trick for leaders Brentford who made it three wins on the bounce when beating Aylesford 8-2. Ashley Cheatley, Maddie Phillips, Rebecca Teale and Ilana Harris-Walters weighed in with the other goals for Brentford to give them a two point advantage over Bromley, who went one better with a 9-2 victory over Dorking Wanderers to go into second. Beth Hull was on target four times and Chana Hinds contributed a brace, with one apiece from Jacey Lane, Charlotte Lee and Maddison Chamney-Farrand. A total of 41 goals were scored in the five Premier Division matches on Sunday and ten of them came at Ashford Town (Middlesex), where the home side shared a 5-5 draw with Sutton Utd. Amelia Halawi (2), Elena Nitsche, Charlotte Close and Sofia Allan all netted for Ashford, whilst Georgia Heasman bagged a hat-trick for Sutton along with others from Brianna Gilbert-Lawal and Amelia Cutler. Molly Hill, Kellie Larkin, Abigail Tucker and Emily Hills all got on the scoresheet as Eastbourne Borough came back from 3-1 down at the interval to beat Millwall Lionesses 4-3, meanwhile a Shawna Harvey double earned Barking a 2-1 success away to Newhaven.
Five teams head the way on six points in Division One North, headed by Camden Town who won 7-0 against Sport London e Benfica thanks to Kelly Faye (2), Maxine Borden, Maya Brueckner, Isata Kamara, Sanaa Williams and Maria Vera. Previous leaders Dulwich Hamlet Res are back in second after losing 4-1 to Maidstone Utd who join them on six points, with Erin Fox, Ellie Hinkley, Kylie Manktelow and Megan Wood all scoring for the Stones. Isobel Lewis-Taggart and Emily Hall netted the goals for Herne Bay in their 2-1 victory over Clapton Community and Tooting Bec complete the quintet, they also won 2-1 against Ebbsfleet Utd courtesy of a double from Bryony Bancroft. Deanne Badley and Remmi Gardney each netted twice for Carshalton Athletic who beat Hackney 8-1, with the others coming from Shauna Doherty, Honey Dulley, Kaydence Kabadaki and Taylor McCrea, whilst Olivia Berry (2) and Fiona Ebert accounted for the goals as AFC Greenwich Borough edged out Actonians Res 3-2.
Saltdean Utd Development stay in first place in Division One South despite being the odd team out on the weekend. They have a two point lead over three clubs, including Tonbridge Angels and Ashmount Leigh who battled out a 1-1 draw with goals from Georgia Culpitt and Yazmin Williams respectively. Leatherhead are the third team on four points, they defeated Three Bridges 3-0 thanks to Cassie Brown, Molly Jones and Lauren Nicholson. Siobhan Bridgewater, Maddie Carter, Lauren Tyler, Brooke Pallant, Isabel King and Holly Clarke were all on the scoresheet for Steyning Town Community in their 6-0 victory over Hastings Utd. Steph Fausse was on target for Ashford Utd in their 1-1 draw with Montpelier Villa, who netted through Mila Jonczyk, whilst Dorking Wanderers B won 3-1 against Sevenoaks Town with strikes from Grace Coombs, Lottie Cordery and Matilda Paget.
North West League
Bolton Wanderers power on at the top of the Premier Division, this time after scoring nine times without reply past FC St Helens. Abigail Brown bagged a four-goal haul and Elizabeth Hamer weighed in with a brace, with Molly Wood and Naomi Lawrence also on target. Mancunian Unity remain five points behind in second place after beating Poulton Vics 4-1 and West Didsbury & Chorlton complete the top three following their 3-0 success against FC United of Manchester, courtesy of Grace Devally, Elle Caddick and Luci Lamberti. Katie Greenwood and Abigail Poulton were on target for Nantwich Town in their 2-2 draw with Bury FC Women, who netted through Freya Smith and Murron Alldread. Grace Flinn, Olivia Rodriguez, Laura Walker and Alicia Scott accounted for the goals as Preston North End beat Tranmere Rovers 4-2 and Darwen FC Women were 3-1 victors against Crewe Alexandra with goals from Katie Smith (2) and Grace Ratcliffe.
The match between the top two in Division One North, Accrington Stanley and Workington Town, sadly ended in abandonment after only 16 minutes with Stanley leading 2-0 at the time, owing to a serious injury sustained by a Workington player. We wish the injured player well. They remain as the top two teams in the table with Wigan Athletic in third place after beating Fleetwood Town Wrens 5-1 with goals from Scarlett Grindley, Kaitlin Millward, Sophie Whelan, Avilla Bergin and Hannah Forster. Abbie Forster, Jasmine Crowther and Georgia Smethurst all scored for Penrith AFC Ladies in their 3-3 draw with Haslingden, whose markswomen were Lucy Howarth, Ciara Rose and Beth MacDonald, whilst Blackpool maintained their unbeaten start by defeating Bolton Wanderers Res 2-0 courtesy of Lauren Oatley and Natasha Hart. Morecambe notched up their first win of the season, 5-2 at Blackburn Community SC with strikes from Emerald Parker (2), Yasmine Carswell, Lauren Emmerson and Grace Hartley.
Rochdale made it four wins out of four at the top of Division One Central when they defeated Wigan Athletic 3-0, Sophie Coates netting twice and Holly Davenport the other. Natalie Lowe (2) and Carmen Culbert ensured that Altrincham won 3-2 against Bury FC Women Res to replace them in second whilst Lucy-May Allman and Mollie Bennett both netted four times, with Jess Battle and Leah Embley each adding doubles, with Olivia Greenhalgh, Francesca Davies, Ellie Lambert and Evie Davies completing the tally for Salford City Lionesses against Stockport County Development. Wythenshawe Town were the other winners on the day, beating Atherton Laburnum Rovers 4-1 courtesy of a Sabrina Hoysted hat-trick and Hayley Nash.
West Didsbury & Chorlton Res have opened up a lead of four points in Division One South following their 2-0 win over Mossley Hill Athletic, courtesy of Isha Mundell and an own goal. Chester FC Women are second, Emma Clausen hitting a hat-trick as they beat Runcorn Linnets 7-1, Polly Wild-McGregor adding two along with Lucy Adderley and Alisha Whitehead-Hughes. Warrington Town meanwhie came away from Tranmere Rovers Development with a 2-1 victory, given to them by Jess Carberry and Ellie Barker.
West Midlands League
Hednesford Town moved into top spot after they won 3-1 away to Solihull Moors, with goals from Marsha Malik, Millie Rogers and Janelle Starker. Four teams are just a single point off the pace including Moors and an inactive Shifnal Town, whilst Daisy-Mai Clements and Jessica Hood gave Redditch Borough a 2-0 success at Coventry Sphinx, and Shrewsbury Town who edged out Leek Town 4-3 with Lily Sutton, Terleah Gromball, Katie Doster and Aimee Willow all on target. Port Vale edged out Knowle 1-0 with a second half own goal while doubles from Jennifer Higgs and Olivia Arnold helped see Stourbridge chalk up their first points of the season with a 4-2 win over Lichfield City.
In Division One North, Sutton Utd made it two wins out of two when they won 3-0 away to Lane Head. Rugby Town are in second place, two points behind Sutton, after their meeting with Coton Green Ladies finished in a goalless draw.
Halesowen Town have maximum points from two games in Division One South, they edged out Droitwich Spa by the odd goal in seven with Imogen Butler and Gabriella Rose both netting doubles. Olivia Baker, Freya Lawton, Simone Brown, Lara O'Brien and Olivia Betts all contributed a goal apiece for Alvechurch in their 5-1 victory over Long Itchington. Evesham Utd were 3-1 winners at Crusaders, Ella Parkinson (2) and Freya Bostock scoring their goals, whilst Harriet Adams was on target for Hereford FC Women in their 1-1 draw against Dudley Town, who netted through Tegan Hands.
